IGY6 Coalition Programs and Services

What We Do

Programs &
Services

Six core programs built around one promise — we've got your six. From disaster response to equipment distribution, every program exists because someone needed it and no one else was there.

Program 01

Disaster Relief

Rapid response when it matters most.

When natural disasters strike Oklahoma and beyond, IGY6 Coalition deploys resources, personnel, and financial aid directly to affected first responders and their families. We coordinate with local agencies to fill the gaps that government programs miss.

What's Included

  • Rapid deployment of supplies and equipment within 24–48 hours of a declared disaster
  • Direct financial assistance to first responder families displaced or impacted
  • Coordination with local fire, EMS, and law enforcement agencies on the ground
  • Long-term recovery support — not just immediate relief
  • Volunteer mobilization and logistics management
  • Partnership with Oklahoma Emergency Management for statewide response

Veteran Support

Honoring service with lasting support.

What's Included

  • Mental health resources and peer support connections
  • Career transition assistance and job placement partnerships
  • Community events and brotherhood/sisterhood gatherings across Oklahoma
  • Benefits navigation — helping veterans access what they've earned

Program 03

Family Support

The badge doesn't just belong to one person.

The families of first responders and military members carry a weight that rarely gets acknowledged. Missed birthdays, sleepless nights, and the constant fear of a knock at the door — IGY6 Coalition sees them, and we're here for them too.

What's Included

  • Counseling and mental health support for spouses and children
  • Emergency childcare assistance during crisis deployments
  • Peer support groups for first responder and military spouses
  • Educational scholarships for children of fallen or injured first responders
  • Holiday and special occasion support programs
  • Grief support and survivor services for Gold Star families

Program 04

Financial Aid

Emergency relief when the bills don't stop.

An injury, illness, or unexpected crisis can devastate a family's finances in weeks. IGY6 Coalition provides direct, no-strings-attached financial assistance to first responders and veterans facing hardship — because the people who protect us shouldn't have to choose between groceries and rent.

What's Included

  • Emergency grants for rent, mortgage, and utility assistance
  • Medical bill relief for line-of-duty injuries not covered by insurance
  • Vehicle repair or replacement assistance for work-related incidents
  • Funeral and burial assistance for fallen first responders
  • Back-to-work support for those recovering from injury
  • No lengthy application process — we move fast when people need help

Program 05

Physical Aid

Recovery support for those injured in service.

Line-of-duty injuries can end careers and upend lives. IGY6 Coalition connects injured first responders and veterans with physical rehabilitation resources, adaptive equipment, and wellness programs designed for the unique demands of their service.

What's Included

  • Referrals to physical therapy and rehabilitation specialists
  • Adaptive equipment grants for mobility and daily living
  • Wellness programs tailored to first responder and veteran needs
  • Peer support from others who've navigated similar injuries
  • Coordination with VA and workers' comp systems to maximize benefits
  • Long-term follow-up — we don't disappear after the first check-in

Program 06

Equipment Exchange

Keeping critical gear in service.

When agencies upgrade their equipment, perfectly functional gear often gets retired. IGY6 Coalition acquires that equipment and redistributes it — or resells it at cost — to departments and organizations that can't otherwise afford it. Good gear saves lives. We make sure it keeps doing its job.

What's Included

  • Acquisition of retired equipment from Oklahoma agencies and departments
  • Inspection, refurbishment, and certification of redistributed gear
  • Distribution to qualifying small departments and nonprofits
  • Resale program for agencies needing equipment at reduced cost
  • Priority placement for rural and underfunded departments
  • Transparent inventory tracking and reporting

FFL & SOT Equipment

For FFL and SOT regulated equipment — including Title II items, NFA transfers, and dealer-to-dealer transfers — IGY6 Coalition partners with Louthan Gun Works, a licensed FFL/SOT dealer in Oklahoma. Contact them directly for assistance with regulated equipment acquisition and compliance.
